RESPONSIBILITIES

• As Business Development Manager and leader of the BD/Sales department, be responsible for managing all revenue-generating initiatives (whether organic or inorganic)
• Lead brainstorming sessions, working with other internal teams (when necessary) in developing concepts, tactical and strategic planning, and producing brand-relevant initiatives for organic or inorganic sales opportunities
• Develop a comprehensive overview of the local market and client landscape, including researching passion points, topline brand focus and other key statistics important for business development
• Develop an overarching sales strategy based on EQ’s existing content and platforms, and coordinate new initiatives to expand EQ’s revenue streams and markets, while also increasing value to existing clients
• Be key liaison for all client projects, as well as coordinate, motivate, and follow up with team members in a timely and professional manner
• Develop client-facing budgets particular to individual projects based on proposed ideas
• Supervise the department’s daily workflow, assign project workload, and monitor deadlines and budgets
• Be comfortable with making cold calls to prospective clients, and delivering a strong introduction of the EQ brand and concept as a segue to possible collaborations or other commercial opportunities
• Ensure decks built off of creative proposal objectives are aligned to the company standard
• Have a strong understanding of our audience and Thai youth, and perform research to maintain up-to-date knowledge on trends and latest market data
• Compile reports for management tracking a variety of BD-related metrics, including client contacts, commercial opportunities, co-branded opportunities, closed sales, lost pitches, overall revenues, sales pipeline, etc
• Develop department-specific KPIs
• Mentor BD team members on sales strategies, ideation and support on projects to help build the skillsets of others
• Perform other duties as required to build the business
• Perform all necessary duties in both English and Thai

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• 3-5 years experience in a sales or business development role
• Strong financial/analytical skills
• A creative mindset that can think both big picture but also execute on the little things
• Existing rolodex of client/brand contacts
• Able to put together proposals and decks for client presentations
• Time management and strategic development skills, with an ability to create a roadmap to achieving KPIs
• Impactful presentation skills and charisma to lead a conversation or meeting
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professionalism and a passion for dealing with people
• Strong leadership with an ability to motivate other colleagues thru trust, teamwork and support
• A passion for culture and creativity
• Calm and patient
• Good command of Microsoft Office or MacOS, with a particular proficiency in excel/numbers and powerpoint/keynote
• Native fluency in Thai and a strong command of English

E-COMMERCE and MERCHANDISING MANAGER 

• Upload and update products to the website – Product data management
• Keep inventory of products
• Order fulfillment
• Manage CRM
• Administer e-commerce backend
• POC and customer support
• POC for merchandise suppliers
• Manage merchandise production
• Review Insights and analytics on customer purchases, pricing
• Work on conversion and sales strategy
• Create weekly updates and monthly reports (sales/offers/product performance)
• Trend & competitor Analysis, with a particular affinity for youth culture, street culture, and product design/innovation
• Market testing new products
• Work on campaigns with the social team
• Work on developing products with a creative team
• Work with web team to optimize e-commerce website
• Work with editorial and designers to create product descriptions/artwork – Involved in growth planning for e-commerce
• Budgeting and Forecasting sales & production

• Support BD Team to develop and implementing sales strategies, based off EQ’s existing content and platforms, and coordinate new initiatives to expand EQ’s revenue streams and markets, while also increasing value to existing clients
• Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
• Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines. – Identify new business opportunities and partners.
• Performs other duties as required to build the business
• Perform all necessary duties in both English and Thai
