The image we once had of this infamous party island is nothing like what we experienced on our recent trip there. Congregating around Hin Kong Srithanu beaches, a small community of locals and long-stay travellers showed us how to coexist with nature and allow ourselves to embark on a soul-searching journey that strengthens both mind and body.
